  • One side of the blade frequently has a lengthwise ridge along the long axis
  • Stem rather short in comparison to the blade
  • Stem form varies from straight to flared
  • Basal edge straight to slightly concave
  • Cortex (outer surface of the flint pebble or block from which the point was chipped) often still in place on base of stem
  • Size: 1¾ to 3½ inches long
